Our core business strategy is: Developing, manufacturing and distributing of “Plug and Play” sensor technology. It is our belief that sensors should not only provide timely and accurate data but be easy to use. We are not traditional in our approach; we place greater emphasis on facilitating the use of software with user-friendly interfaces and the incorporation of more features into the sensor; giving AAS2 a superior edge in the industry. By using our technology, “Plug and Play” devices have great sensing capabilities. We are not only user-friendly, but cost effective as well.
Founded in 1999, Ann Arbor Sensor Systems, LLC is a small but dynamic company started by David and Edward Kryskowski. Today, the company is comprised of a diverse engineering staff, with combined experiences of over 75 years. Our key engineer, David Kryskowski has designed for both military and automotive suppliers which gives AAS2 a very broad range of sensor expertise. David is a leading expert in the discipline of multi-spectral and infrared phenomenology and he has more than 20 years experience in advanced signal processing and infrared design.
Our office and laboratory facility is located in Dexter, Michigan; just outside of Ann Arbor, MI, a short traveling distance to Detroit, MI. In our facility is a Class 10K clean room space for manufacturing and assembling of smart sensors. Our clean room is equipped with state of the art assembly and visual inspection equipment.
Please see our Products Section of the site for our whole inventory of available products, but three particular items that we are very proud of, and support our business strategy are: 1) An industrial class 1-Wire® single-element, calibrated temperature radiometer called the A2NCT02; 2) the 1-Wire® Handspring™ Visor plug-in expansion module and software; 3) the 1-Wire® Library for LabVIEW® devices.
